Wear & Tear

Normal Wear and Tear

I understood all the pictures you will see are of normal wear and tear to the property according to the

Fifteenth Judicial District Court

Parish of Lafayette

State of Louisiana

The pictures below are a few of the snapshots that were taken with police present and a locksmith. The door locks were to not to be changed, as I could not change the locks on the Louisiana home. Much better than all that. Not only were the locks changed and the damage to the property, but it was not even ours. We had the property in our name for one of my brothers. He was always wanting to help family and his friends. Knowing that my X husband was going to be staying in Texas during the week and living with my brother, offered for us to put the property in our name so we could use the tax benefit. So, we did. All worked out well. My brother even sold another condo in the same complex, gave the money to us to put down on the current condo mortgage. The X said that we needed to put the money in the bank. Not so happy about it, my brother, said, then put it in a college fund for the kids. So I did. What do you think happened to the condo and money?

This wall is painted in a Ralph Lauren Dark Beet color. The lines you see are from what I understand to be normal wear and tear of the property under normal use. That is what I understood from the judge and my attorney. The sheetrock wall was damaged around ΒΌ in deep. Also you can see over the toilet the same type of normal wear and tear in the wall and wallpaper. Normal wear and tear or deliberate? What you think?

Picture #2

IMG_0033In this same bathroom, one can see where the wallpaper is missing. What else is missing? I large 3 feet by 5 feet mirror was bolted to the wall. One can see that the mirror is missing and the wallpaper located behind the mirror also has the same type of normal wear and tear as the Dark Beet wall. Also as X husband was carrying out the mirror with the help of some woman, not sure if she was the women that was sleeping with a married man or who this person was, but they did speak to a good friend of my brother, Mrs. Patty. She asked what they were doing putting those good big mirrors in the dumpster and watching them shatter, my lovely X said he did not need them anymore. What are you thinking?

Picture #3

IMG_0034Yes, it only gets better, more normal wear and tear. In picture 3, you can see the medicine cabinet. What do you see missing? I see a door to the cabinet missing. How funny, do any of you have a medicine cabinet door missing in your home from normal wear and tear? Not only in this bathroom, but the 2nd bathroom has a missing door as well.

These cabinets were installed in 1979 when the complex was built. It only took less than a year for one or maybe two grown ass adults to have that much normal wear and tear? Strangely in both bathrooms!! What are your thoughts?

Picture #4

IMG_0043Yes, what you see is hot electrical wires hanging from the ceiling? Not only one room, several rooms have live wires hanging out. Where is the light fixtures? What a safety and fire hazard. But one must understand as I had to understand that this is once again, Normal Wear and Tear. (More to come on light fixture topic)

My Hurricane Story

Intro

This is the story of a woman with a very strong Acadian background, who was betrayed and shamed into giving away the rights to her own life. This was done in a male dominated court system that often reoffends battered women and victimizes them over and over again until they relent and sign on the dotted line. She was left with a broken life, and a shattered spirit. This is tragedy in the truest sense. The court system and legal system needs an overhaul to prevent hard working, loyal women from being treating like an expendable commodity- at the level of gas station toilet paper.
